Dr. Cook

Dr. Cook came to Truett in July, 2001 from the First Baptist Church of Brownwood after nearly 30 years in pastoral ministry, serving in churches in Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia and Texas. Dr. Cook received his B.A. from Baylor, and the M.Div. and Ph.D. degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served on several boards and committees of the Georgia Baptist Convention and the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the Board of Directors of the Baptist Center for Ethics. Prior to joining the faculty, Dr. Cook served on the Truett Seminary advisory board, and currently serves on the advisory board of Baylor's Center for Ministry Effectiveness. His wife Sara teaches first grade at Robinson Primary School. Their oldest son Graham is married to Storey Wilkes Cook, and they are parents to a grandchild, Cambell Grace. Ron and Sara's daughter Claire is a graduate student at the University of Missouri, and another son, Marshall, is a senior at Baylor.
